Pahiyas Festival

Lucban, Quezon celebrates the Pahiyas Festival to give thanks for a bountiful harvest. Held every 15th of May, you can share the joyous fiesta with the townspeople who are more than willing to let you enter their houses and admire their decorations. Their homes are colorfully adorned with fruit, vegetables and flowers, mostly made of kiping, a leaf-shaped rice flour wafer.

Enjoy strolling down the streets, buying finger foods along the way and be fascinated with the colorful display in every house you pass by. Get lost with the number of people who also want to wander off amongst these dazzling decorations.
